Noelle Vestre-Schmid

Hi, I'm Noelle Vestre-Schmid LMFT. Welcome to my profile!

My name is Noelle Vestre-Schmid, I am a licensed marriage and family therapist.  I have dedicated the last 23 years working in the field of mental health doing formal and informal counseling. I currently work in Private Practice and contract with Center for New Directions, as well, providing counseling to Individuals, Families, Adolescents,Children and Couples. I have worked as a full-time therapist at Crittenton Services for Children & Families, which works with DCFS, probation, and parenting adolescents for over 11 years.  Prior to becoming a therapist I had worked with SED youth and their families for 11 years. I have extensive experience working with youth and families that are multi-cultural, have experienced trauma &/or abuse, SED (severely emotionally disturbed) youth and families, youth & families with chemical dependence, while practicing traditional therapeutic interventions and also using an Evidenced Based program (Seeking Safety).   If you are a person that would like to become a more improved version of yourself, are struggling with a decision that could be life altering, or need help getting through life stressors or a loss you have experienced, then you are a good candidate for therapy. Let me help you achieve your goal(s). Making a decision to begin therapy can be a scary or daunting thought.  I am available for a free phone consultation.  Please email me if you are interested in setting up a free phone consultation. You will find my email address on my page on Psychology Today.
